This is my copy of the Total Film magazine cover (left) which i produced using adobe photoshop. The original image is the one on the right that i used as a template to copy. This task enabled me to develop the skills i had on this software and also try some new techniques that will help me further on. It is quite accurate but my skills on photoshop are not to the same standard as those who produced the original image on a different software.
This task also enabled me to indentify the main features of film magazine covers such as the Masthead, the backgroundthe image, the tagline and pictures from other films promoting them.One of the hardest things to do was to adjust the text style, font and colour to match to that of the original copy.
